My First Attempt At Vlogging

Getting Ready Time: 5 days and 8 hours. It was supposed to be 5 day and 6 hours, but as always I have missed my train back to London.

They say Paris is always a good idea. Which is certainly true, but during Couture, Paris becomes something else entirely. For two weeks each year (one in July and one in January), Paris loses its usual black attire and instead explodes with colour and sparkle. Wherever you go, everyone is immaculately made up in the most outrageous of outfits. And as you know, I do like my fashion choices bold and bright, so going to Couture feels kind of like having another birthday. I swear, even the food gets better during this time. Which is probably how I started to gain weight. Frankly, I blame the foie gras. And the champagne. And may be a little bit those delicious breakfast crepes. And Croissants.

So, I thought it would be fun to share my Fashion Week experience with you. It was my first attempt in ‘filming’, so I made quite a few mistakes in the process. A few times I forgot to charge my phone and ended up with no battery for some of the most exciting parts of the trip. And I made a lot of vertical videos (like you would for Insta stories), dramatically reducing the amount of suitable material. And I used a copyrighted song as a sound track in my first edit, so my video was blocked on Youtube. But despite all this, I hope you guys are going to like it. And if you do, please like and subscribe :).

It would be great to hear your thoughts in the comment section below.

Filmed and edited by yours truly.

I’m wearing: red PJs Olivia Von Halle, Camelia sunglasses Chanel; white gown Yanina Couture; blue PJs For The Restless Sleepers, all jewellery by Sybarite.
