(At Least To Me)

What is your favourite type of bag? I don’t mean what is your favourite brand (let me guess? Is it Bottega? :)). What I mean is, how do you like to carry your things? In a small and elegant top handle? Or a giant hobo shopper that can fit the content of your entire house? Or maybe you love a large clutch aka a Bottega pouch? Maybe a tiny crossbody that only fits a credit card and a lipstick (and sometimes not even that)? Or perhaps you are more of a crossbody type? 

I am a proud belt bag girl. Ever since they came back in style, I have been madly in love. And while I did not buy the original Gucci belt bag that brought back the trend, I have amassed quite a collection. Because this time around the belt bag is so much more than it used to be. 

It can be sporty like the Louis Vuitton Bum Bag, or it can be sophisticated like this mock croc Wandler beauty. You can find hundreds of different styles in the latest season, or you can go on a quest for a vintage find. This time around everything goes. And the best part is the freedom it gives you. When you wear a belt bag, there is nothing in your hands; nothing hits your hip bone as you walk and you don’t have to take off the bag to take off your coat. And besides, I love the certain edge it adds to any outfit. 

On that note, let me introduce the latest addition to the family: my new Chanel belt bag. It barely fits my car keys and credit card, so it will probably be more of an evening bag for me, but I love it. x
